This is my first attempt at blogging! From now on, I will be reviewing and analyzing some adolescent literature....along with 21 of my new friends!! I can't wait to get started...but am feeling a little overwhelmed. Anyone with me??
My books are: "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson "From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler" by E.L. Konigsburg "Deadline" by Chris Crutcher "Woodsong" by Gary Paulson "The Chocolate War" by Robert Cormier "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton "The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian" by Sherman Alexi "Joy Luck Club" by Amy Tan "Lincoln: A Photobiography" by Russell Freedman "Courageous Princess" by Rod Espinosa "Heir Apparent" by Vivian Vande Velde
I am excited to begin teaching 8th grade English at Checotah Intermediate School in the fall! I taught 7th grade for two years in Arkansas, and have missed reading and writing with my students this year. In order to fulfill my "artistic needs," I've been writing a series of elf stories, "The Pole Pals!"
